Cerris Systems was selected to finish the mechanical, plumbing, sheet metal, and equipment installation scope of work for the Wyndham Desert Blue, a project that sat abandoned for five years following an economic downturn in Las Vegas.
Due to the previous delay, the site presented some challenges. The weather had affected some of the work already put in place, and thousands of MEP penetrations needed correction or relocation.
In order to mitigate labor risk and enhance site safety, the team prefabricated all of the grooved piping, ductwork, shower valves, and inline pump skids off-site in a safe, controlled environment.
The team also worked on the Wyndham pool building project which included a walk-in cooler freezer, remote refrigeration, exhaust hood installation, cook line equipment, full-service bar, and a custom-fabricated and NSF-Certified diamond plate floor.
